Our Classic Collection consists of small and intimate safari camps and lodges that offer exclusivity and personalised attention. Each has an individual style and character and is hosted, often by the owners. Well off the beaten track, they are located on expansive private conservation areas or in prime spots in game parks and reserves throughout East Africa.

These exclusive destinations usually have less than 10 en-suite rooms and all are fully staffed, including resident guides who know their area well. Each chef has their own flair and style and the fine cuisine is served either in dinner party style around a single table or privately. As each has a unique setting, the activities on offer are varied, including day and night game drives, guided bush walks, horse and camel riding, swimming pool, spa, boat rides and community activities.

Whilst designing your personalised itinerary we recommend a minimum of 3 nights at most destinations. We suggest safari camps and lodges that complement each other to give you an all-embracing experience. Because of the vast distances between regions we recommend flying between areas on scheduled or charter flights. Most itineraries last 2 weeks, giving you the opportunity to experience 4-5 classic properties.
