Nigel Stenning

Nigel has been living in East Africa for over 30 years and during that time has lived in both Kenya and Tanzania which he knows intimately.  He has been the lead guide on many trips to the Ngorongoro Crater, the Serengeti, Lake Manyara, Lake Tanganyika and the Grumeti region of Tanzania.  He has also led many safaris all over Kenya including climbing trips up Mt. Kenya, Mt. Kilimanjaro and Mt. Meru.   In addition to his extensive experience in Kenya and Tanzania he has also enjoyed with his guests Mountain Gorilla treks to the Virunga Volcanoes in Uganda and Rwanda.

Nigel is passionate about wildlife and the people’s that inhabit these wilderness areas and he has an in-depth knowledge of the history, culture, flora and fauna of Africa.

Nigel has a strong educational background having trained and worked as a teacher in Africa at several International Schools. As a consequence he is very good with adults and children alike and is an ideal choice for a multi generational safari.

When not on safari Nigel lives in Nairobi with his wife and two daughters.
